Many games are either explicitly or implicitly homonormative. A gay gamer may find it difficult to play them. However, several games provide explicit representations of queer identities and desires.
Some of these games include a choice between masculine and feminine pronouns, allow players to romance characters of either gender, or explore sexuality from a male perspective. Here are some LGBTQ-inclusive Steam games that you can enjoy.

Gone Home was created by The Fullbright Company. It is a first person exploration game which tells a story through the mundane aspects of an empty home. Katie, the player’s character, returns home to an empty house. She finds clues to her sister’s life as she explores the home: riot-grrl mixtapes on VHS, The X-Files, a smear on the bathtub of red hair dye, and a pentagram made of chalk in a hidden area.
The house is an immersive space, and the game’s design allows players to spend as much time as they want, without being hurried or frustrated by combat or puzzles. The story is evocative and touching, with characters who feel true to the world they live in.
Despite not being as experimental as Dear Esther or Proteus, Gone Home’s storytelling style makes it a worthy addition to the canon of first-person art games. It’s a powerful portrayal of teenage angst as well as family drama and mental illness. It is a story that feels true, and one that will stay with players long after the credits have rolled.

A massive open-world game, with a sprawling backstory and a lot of characters to get to know. The storyline and lore of this game is heavily based on the two previous Dragon Age games. Those who are unfamiliar with them may find it difficult to follow.
Inquisition’s epic scope is balanced by a sense intimacy and the feeling that you have a chance to make a mark on your world. The character relationships are strong and well-realised, whether they’re squabbling with each other across verdant meadows or bickering in dim caverns, and hearing Varric and Cole bicker is one of the game’s pleasures.
Inquisition may have a few issues, such as a base villain that isn’t very interesting (although BioWare has addressed this with their post launch content), and combat that seems designed for games half the size. However, on the whole, Inquisition’s RPG is just right.

From the makers of Bastion and Transistor, Pyre offers a new take on the fantasy genre. The story is set in a purgatorial world known as the Downside. It features tree people, creatures that look like foxes, and worms. Characters that join your party, like Rukey the loud “cur” and Ti’zo the drive-imp that only communicates with sound, help make it feel a lot less one-dimensional.
The game’s core features revolve around the Rites, a quasi-religious tournament that pits your team of 3 against another. The time required to achieve freedom gets shorter each time you win a Rites. Often, you’ll have to decide whether you want to improve your team or push yourself in battle. The choices you make add up to make each victory more meaningful.
The visual design is beautiful, combining elements of pioneering and fantasy. Supergiant Games also has a strong soundtrack, with Darren Korb dipping across a range of genres in order to represent each team. The Downsiders, for example, have an old time jazz theme while the Nightwings, a thrasher melody. Pyre is a fascinating new twist on fantasy gameplay and storytelling.

Hades is an excellent, engrossing game with snappy gameplay, a wonderful score, and charming characters. Hades is a great game with a lot of charm and charm. It has a wonderful score, snappy gameplay, and a random genre.
The character designs are layered with depth. The art director, Jen Zee (Bastion, Transistor, Pyre) has given each of the gods and goddesses a distinctive style that makes them stand out from one another. Hades, for example, is intimidating and dominating. Nyx and Megaera on the other hand are reserved and regal. Cerberus is a three-headed canine that defies classification.

AMC wanted to expand its offerings after a string critically acclaimed dramas such as Mad Men and Breaking Bad. It found it with The Walking Dead. The show portrays the life of survivors in the months and even years after a zombie outbreak. Sheriff’s deputy Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, is the leader of an elite group of survivors. The series stars the sheriff’s deputy Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) as the leader of a group of survivors.
The Walking Dead features plenty of munching-on-entrails and stabbing-that-shambler-in-the-eye-socket violence, and its characters grapple with the nature of humanity. That said, the series has its moments of dark humor and even a little romance. There are some meager restrictions on sexualized language and gore, but there’s plenty of it to be had.
